An Egyptian writer of Italian descent, who taught Italian at the Faculty of Al-Alsun. She wrote several television and film, the most famous of which is No Consolation for Women (1979). She has a fixed column in Le Progrès newspaper. Katia issued 3 books by the French publishing house Gallimard, and they are directed to children (from eight to sixteen years old). She has provided several translations from French to famous French writers and novelists. She died on April 19, 2011.
