An Egyptian singer and actor, born in 1982. He showed an interest in singing while he was still in school. He studied mass communication at the American University in Cairo and formed his own band then. In 2002 he sang in Elissa’s band where he was discovered by producer Ayman Abbas who offered to produce his first album, Where Are You Going, in 2004. His song Crazy was a big hit. The song’s lyrics were written by Mahmoud himself. Later on, he released many more albums. He started acting in 2007 in the movie Neama Bay with actress Ghada Adel and singer Ahmed Fahmy.
