A contemporary Egyptian poet born on December 12, 1912, Cairo. He showed signs of his poetic talent since he was a high school student. He got acquainted with the poets Ali Mahmoud Taha, Ibrahim Nagy and Muhammad Abd El Muti El Hamshari, who also resided in Mansoura. Saleh lived through the 1919 revolution, which moved him and inflamed his spirit. Among his works The Woman, Determination and I Never Sleep. He died in 1976 at the age of 64, after a career full of singing for Egypt, love and the Arab world.
