Borhane made his feature film debut Kafr Qasem in 1978. He also made his first documentary in 1978 titled God Standing with the Poor is not Enough, which followed the Egyptian architect Hassan Fathy's experience with the architecture of the poor areas. In addition, Borhane made two other films:Beirut the Appointment and Finished.
