An Egyptian actor, who is the son of late actor Hussein Kandeil. He started his artistic activity in the mid-eighties and played supporting roles in cinema. He often played the role of an officer or investigator. He is known for I'm Not a Criminal (1985), A Lion's Share (1992), and The Dictator (2009).
