An Egyptian actor, graduated from Engineer Khan (currently College of Engineering), then joined the Ramses Troupe and Fatima Rushdi Troupe. He established the Actors Union with Zaki Tulaimat and then returned to work with the Ramses Theater and the National Band. His cinematic debut was through the movie Dananeer (1939), then he appeared in dozens of works, most notably Abu Hadid, Our Good Days, Rabaa Al-Adawiya, and the plays The Caboose and The Guarded.
