She is an Egyptian actress who started her career on the National Theater in the sixties and then turned to work on television, playing secondary roles, and is often famous for the role of the rural hard-working woman. She is famous for her roles in the movies The Collar and the Bracelet (1986), and Blood of the Innocent (2005). Among her plays is The Lesson Has Ended, Stupid with Mohamed Sobhi in 1975, and her most important series The Scrooge and I (1990) and Abbas El Abyad on a Rainy Day (2004). She presented about 140 dramatic works during her career.
