An Egyptian actor and theater director, born in 1935. He acted as a child in the movie Lipstick (1946) and Fatima (1947). Then he studied directing at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and directed many plays. He is the son of the creative writer Badi' Khairy, the companion of the artist Naguib Al-Rihani, and he is also the brother of the artist Adel Khairy.
