An Egyptian actor and writer who was born in 1910. He began his career as an amateur actor at Al Azbakeya Garden Theatre, Ramses Theatre, and Aziz Eid Troupe. He wrote a number of plays, including The Devil, Repentance, Amusements of Life, and Secrets of the World. He wrote A Storm of Tears and acted in Return of the Absentee. He died on April 6, 1980.
