An Egyptian actress, born in Burj Al-Barajneh in Lebanon, to an Egyptian father and a Lebanese mother. She studied at the Faculty of Law at Beirut University in 1982, before she came to Cairo, where she was discovered by the director Taysir Abboud, who gave her a small role in the movie Let Me Take Revenge. Among the films she appeared in are Mothers in Exile, Escape from Khanka and The House of Minors. She also appeared in several series including Falling Far from the Tree and Al-Aasr Market.
