An Egyptian director and screenwriter, born in 1932. He received a Bachelor of arts, department of English languages and a certificate from the Institute of Dramatic Arts, directing department. He started his cinematic activities as a screenwriter in his first film Loveless Days in 1962. He worked as a producer for some films and worked as a director on television since its broadcast. He also directed in theater, and turned to acting through the movie Huda in 1959. He died in 1997.
