An Egyptian actor and director. He obtained a diploma from the Leonardo da Vinci Institute in 1962 and then a diploma from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1966, after which he was appointed as a director on television. He stormed the field of acting by participating in the series The Man with Five Faces (1969). His most prominent roles were as an actor in The movie Searching for a Scandal (1973), where he played the character Rico. He made his first directing experiences in the cinema in 1974 through the movie 2-1-0, after which his works followed, including The Man Who Lost His Memory Twice, and Destructive Intelligence. He traveled to the United States of America in the nineties before returning and directing the series Wedding Dress (2009).
