An actor who started his career as an athlete. His hulking figure was often exploited in the roles he played, as he was usually cast as a gangster, but he also played some comic roles. His most prominent role was in the movie The Magic Lantern, where he played the genie Afrakoush. He worked in some plays and disappeared for a while from the screen, then made a comeback.
