Egyptian singer born in Dakahlia Governorate and taught by vocalist Ibrahim Shafiq, as she memorized many religious songs. She worked for a short period then illness took away her voice. She appeared in the films The Thugs of El-Husseiniya (1954) and The Victory of Islam (1952). She passed away in 1976.
