Syrian actor of Armenian Christian descent. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts - Damascus University. He started his career around 1974, and joined the Syrian Actors Syndicate in 1980. He appeared in many diverse roles between theater, television, cinema and theater. His big screen debut was on the film A Meeting with the Unknown (1980), other works of his include Alebaa Procession, Public Relations, as well as the Egyptian film The Cry of an Ant (2011), where he made a guest appearance. He has appeared in over 70 TV series throughout his career, and he has directed the Emirati series Sanctuary (2013). He was honored in Aleppo University Cinema Club in 2007, and received Best Actor for his role on the series The Swirl at Cairo Arab Media Festival's 15th edition.
