A Syrian actress and director who was born in Jableh. She holds a degree from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, and she studied in Germany and France. She presented her first television role in the series Papers of a Woman directed by Anisa Assaf in the early eighties of the last century, and at that time she was a student at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. She moved away from acting, as her last roles was in 2003. She is married to artist Zuhair Abdel Karim and they have 3 children.
