Nagueeb al-Reehaany attached her to his troupe and changed her name to Zeinaat Sedky to avoid the confusion with actor Zeinab Sedky and Soulaymaan Nagueeb helped her. Zeinaat got married once for a short period and she lead a lonely life ever after. She was famous for the role of the maid or the single woman waiting for her man. She worked with Al-Reehaany in a number of plays like “Al-donya gara feeha eih? i.e. What happened in the world?”. Sedky worked a lot with Esmaeel Yasseen either on the stage or in films. Her activities diminished towards the end of her life. In 1976, she received an award and an exceptional pension from president Sadat. Egyptians can never forget her famous scenes with Abdul Salaam al-Naboulsy in “Shaare’ al-hobb i.e. Love street” and with Esmaeel Yasseen in “Ebn Hameedo i.e. Son of Hameedo”.
