He was born in 1927 in Baghdad. He was characterized by humor and comedy, and his first roles was on stage when he presented the play Wahida, the Iraqi (1945). He participated in 85 plays and 850 radio and television series. Among the most famous the series in which he acted are Below Musa the Barber, Abu al-Baldawi, and Abu Faris.
