An Egyptian director who obtained his studies in Germany. He directed films and series in Iraq, including in the 1973 TV nights Aboud Sings and Aboud Doesn't Sing. In 1974, he directed the series Shoveled Salt. He married the Iraqi actress, producer, translator, and director Shamim al-Rassam. He died in Iraq.
