Faida Mahmoud Kamel is a singer who worked in cinema. She sang while she was in the Sunnia high school. She earned a diploma at the Higher Institute of Music. She was known for her patriotic performance. She became a deputy in the People’s Assembly for several sessions, after she stopped singing and got married to El Nabawi Ismail, who became a minister. Her brother is the late musician Suleiman Jamil and the opera singer, Ayda Kamel.
