An Egyptian actor, born in the Gamaliya district of Cairo in 1893. He began his artistic career as a monologue artist, which he composed. Then he joined many theater groups, where he worked with Najib Al-Rihani and the Youssef Ezz El-Din Troupe. His film roles include A Kiss in the Desert (1927), Flowers and Thorns and Layla, the Daughter of the Rich.
