Egyptian director actor, born on July 15, 1914. He obtained a diploma from the Acting Institute and then studied theater directing in London for five years, then returned to Egypt in 1940. He began his artistic life as an assistant director for a number of directors. He worked as an assistant production manager for American films: The Ten Commandments, The Land of the Pharaohs, and My Kingdom for a Woman. He worked as a production manager for several Egyptian films. Since 1942, he wrote a number of stories, scripts and dialogues for films, including: The Five Pounds ( 1946). He died in Paris of lung cancer, and his funeral was held in Egypt on December 20, 1966.
