After graduating from university, she was appointed to an Arabic language teacher in Kut in 1953, yet she only worked for months. She was transferred to the city of Shatra, and a few days after her move, she was expelled from work with her two brothers for political reasons. She studied at the High Teachers' House. Nuri Akbar was her first husband who supported her to start her career in cinema. She debuted in the movie. Saeed Effendi (1958). In the same year, she worked in theater in the play I am your mother, Shaker, which had the longest showtime in Iraq. After the February 1963 coup, she was forced to escape to Kurdistan until the end of 1964, when the coups were expelled by a military counter-coup. She returned to Baghdad after the situation calmed down to start a difficult life. She worked in sewing at home to earn a living and did not return to acting until after 1968. She is known for Donkey knot, and The Palm and the Neighbors. She died in Sweden in 1998.
