Nada, born in Aleppo in 1934, is a Syrian singer whose real name is Naamat Qassoma. She married the Syrian singer and composer, Mohammed Diaa El Din, and formed a duet with him. They became known in Egypt as “Diaa and Nada,” and from Egypt they became famous in the Arab world. Nada appeared in the Egyptian cinema, in the films The Nun (1965), The Family's Tree, and My Beloved in 1960.
