Egyptian writer and director, Yassin Ismail Yassin was born in 1949. He studied at the High Institute of Cinema before devoting his career to writing. He began working in film production in the first part of the 1970s with the film “El Laiba” (The Game). Yassin is known for writing and directing films that revolve around police and crime stories, including: “Khitet El Shaytan” (Devil’s Plan), “‘Aid Lintiqam” (He Returned for Revenge), “Garima Ila Robaa” (A Quarter to Crime), “El Mukalima El Qatila” (Deadly Call). He died in 2008 due to complications related to cancer.
