An Egyptian composer born in the village of Mit Abu El-Ezz, in Kafr El-Zayat. He holds a diploma from the Higher Industrial Institute in Tanta. He joined the music of the Royal Guard during the reign of Sultan Hussein Kamel. Then he worked as a musician with the foreign bands that were widespread in Cairo, and for the performance groups coming to Egypt in the choir and opera theaters. He studied music at the hands of the musician (Bakho). He participated in the establishment of the Syndicate of Egyptian Lyrical Theater in its golden age, by re-recording the operettas by Sayed Darwish, Ibrahim Fawzy and Dawood Hosni. He composed the score for many films, including Dananir, Aida, The Wives Factory, and Passion and Revenge.
