An Egyptian actor, who was born in Damanhour, Beheira Governorate in 1941. He graduated from the Institute of Performing Arts in 1962. He started in cinema through the film Open Door (1963), then joined the Higher Institute of Art Criticism and worked on several plays, including "The Guarded." He also worked on several series including: Devil's Garden (2006), The White Flag (1988) and Falling in Sabe' Well (1994).
