Amira Amir is an Egyptian actress. She was born in 1920, and started working under the direction of pioneer director Kamal Selim in the film “Hanan” in 1944. She then co-starred in a few films spanning the 1940s and the 1950s, including “Almoghany Almaghool” (The Anonymous Singer), “Doctor Belaafia” (Forced Doctor), “Al Mostahtera” (The Careless), and “Taht Smaa' Almadina” (Under the City Sky). She died in 1968 at the age of 48.
