Mohamed Salman is a Lebanese director, actor and singer. He was born in a small village in southern Lebanon. He received his college degree, then moved to Cairo, where he started singing with Egyptian music icons Riyad El Sonbaty and Mohamed El Qasabgy. He was also famous for singing southern Lebanese folklore. Among Salman's directorial efforts are “Moghamarat Shushu” (Shushu's Adventures), “Paris wal Hob” (Paris and Love), “Aroos min Dimishq” (Bride from Damascus), and “Ana wel A'zab we Hawak” (Me, Suffering and Your Love). He dies in 1997, at the age of 75.
