An Egyptian actor who witnessed the stages of the development of the Egyptian Cinema through the decades of the thirties, forties and fifties until the decade of the sixties. He was born in 1895 in Cairo, and he worked in the George Abyad Theater and with Fatma Rushdi Troupe. As for the cinema, his work has been limited to performing supporting roles since his first participation, which was in the silent movie Zainab (1930). Among his other films: Ambassador of Hell (1945), Life or Death (1954), and Days and Nights (1955). He died in 1958 in Cairo.
