Egyptian actor Abo Elfotoh Omara graduated from the High Institute of Theatre Arts in 1976. He worked in theatre at the beginning of the 1960s, performing with the Abdelrahaman El Khamisi Theatre Troupe in shows such as “ ‘Azbet Binayouti” (Binayouti Manor). He later performed several shows with the Modern Theatre such as “Rawd El Farag,” and “El Barema” (The Mustache). Omara also worked in television and radio and some of his well-known works include “Aboulalaa 90,” “El Sebaar” (The Cactus) and “Helm El Ganoubi” (Dream of the South). With regard to cinema, he appeared in a number of films such as “Leh yaa Dunya” (Why, World?) “Leilet El ‘Atl” (Night of the Murder), “Nasser 56” and “Talata ‘ala El Tariq” (Three on the Road).
