Mohamed El Gheity is an Egyptian television host and screenwriter. He debuted as a screenwriter with the script for the television series "Mohakmet El Layaly" in 1998, after which he followed up with numerous series including "Al Toufan" and "Sarkhet Ontha". Some of his works were notable for their hostile tone towards Zionism, including the Khairy Beshara-directed series "Alhorub Min Algharb" (Escaping the West). He also wrote the biographical series "Aldahik Albaky" (The Crying Laugher) which depicts the life of legendary actor and comedian Naguib El Rihany.
