A Syrian director, born in Aleppo. He is the son of the late actor Omar Hijo. He worked for a long time as an assistant to major directors in Syria before making his directorial debut with the series, Spotlight S1 (2001), which achieved great success and was made into many seasons. He then directed many successful Syrian series, making him one of the most important Syrian directors. His notable works include Those Who Fall in Love, Estate of Oblivion, and Regret.
