Shereef Helmy is a prominent actor who proved himself repeatedly in several soap operas. In many occasions, directors confined him to the villain roles. Thus in an attempt to get himself out of the villain's frame, he chose to play Dr. Hassanein Heikl in Abd El Naser's series in Ramadan 2008.
