A stage actor and director, born on February 27, 1937 in Port Said. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, Department of Arabic Language in 1960, then joined the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, and graduated in 1964 at of his top class. He was appointed as an actor and then a director in national the television troupes. He worked as an acting instructor at the Higher Institute of Music Education in 1967. He was appointed as a director at the National Theater in 1971, among other positions. He acted in some films and plays, and directed several plays for the state theater, private theater, and the Egyptian and Arab television.
