A theater actor, born in Al-Qaymariyya, Damascus. He became a professional actor in 1950 with the artists Saad El Din Bakdounis, Rafiq Subaie, and Nour Kayali, then he moved from the Saad El Din Bakdounis troupe to the Muhammad Ali Abdo troupe. His works include The End of a Brave Man (1994), Harun al-Rashid (1997), and Roots Never Die (1993).
