A Syrian actor, who appeared with the generation of artistic pioneers. He was a skilled carpenter in Damascus in the early 1950s, but he loved acting. When asked to prepare the location for a play, including furniture and wooden supplies, he provided it for free in exchange for the opportunity to appear on stage when one of the actors was absent. His works include Family and Lovers (1999), The Collapse (1999), and The Usurer (2000).
