Biography
A Bahraini critic, actor, director and playwright, born in 1948. He started working in the theater through a play entitled The Donkey and the Execution Guillotine, which he wrote. After that, he traveled to Qatar, where he co-founded El Sadd Theater, then moved to the United Arab Emirates in 1975 to co-found Sharjah Theater with a group of Emirates artists, and in 1984 he returned again to his native country of Bahrain, where he co-founded El Sawary Theater, the third private theatrical troupe in Bahrain. Among his work are the 2006 movie A Bahraini Tale, and the play Rashdan's Wedding Night.
