A British actor born on July 13, 1901, raised in Yorkshire and educated in Halifax. He began his acting career on stage in 1923 and majored in the works of William Shakespeare and George Bernard Shaw. His works include: 49th Parallel, A Canterbury Tale, Dear Murderer and The Whisperers. He died on December 7, 1969 in the United Kingdom.
