An Egyptian actor and author, born in Cairo on January 19, 1967. He graduated from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, and worked in the censorship authority on artistic works. Raafat wrote the two short films Playing Over the Nuba Mountains (2004), and Good Morning (2008). He also participated in the films: You Let Me Down (1995), Escaping to Prison (1995), and the series Between Two Beaches (2002).
