In March 2012, she switched over to MBC 1 and hosted a talk show called “Nawart.” She married Tony Michael, and gave birth to a daughter named Judy. In 2013, during the short presidency of Islamist Mohamed Morsi, she launched a new talk show “Qasr al Kalam” (Palace of Discussion) featuring discussions with Egyptian journalists and political figures, though the show was cut early because most of the interviews were recorded before the ouster of Morsi, and a majority of the material was no longer relevant.
