He returned to Saudi Arabia and joined the Saudi Telecom Company, where he worked as a manager of administrative training and a lecturer. He worked as an editor in (Al-Riyadh) newspaper and headed the cultural section in it. He also worked in (Al-Yamamah) magazine and served as head of the cultural section. He held the position of Director of Public Relations at the Literary Club in Riyadh, and founded the Al-Adabiya magazine, which was issued by the club. He translated a number of articles published in the Saudi newspaper (Al-Jazeera) under the title "Salon". He presented works for television, including the script for the series Riches of the Desert. He contributed in activities and campaigns in defense of women's rights, respect for minorities, and easing tensions between different religions. He published his first novel, “Al-Atayef Street” in 2009.
