He is an Egyptian director who graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University. He was an assistant to director, Adel Sadeq in the play Cuckoo's Nest (1979), starring Mohamed Negm. In 1999, he started directing a number of television dramas, including The Widow, and A Ticket to Mars. He's known for Sayed Al Ace (2008), and The Underworld (2005).
