An Egyptian actor, born in the city of Mansoura, Dakahlia Governorate on April 2, 1928. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in 1961. He began his career as an inspector general for the theater department in the educational administration in East Cairo, and he practiced acting as a hobby. He acted in several films, such as: The Secret of the Vanishing Cap (1959), and The Three Madmen (1970). He also participated in several television series, such as: Land of Hypocrisy (1975), and Tears in Bold Eyes (1980).
