He was an Iraqi actor who was born in 1940 in the city of Kut. He joined the Institute of Fine Arts, graduating in 1953. In 1973, he received an invitation from the National Acting Troupe to be one of its members. From the theater, he moved to television as a TV presenter. In 2006, he left Iraq and settled in Syria to continue his artistic career, where he participated in most of the TV series that were completed there, including: The Unknown, and The Last Days of Summer. He died on Friday, June 26, 2020, as a result of being infected with the Coronavirus .
