An Iraqi director and producer, born in Baghdad. He began his career in the mid-seventies and worked at the Iraqi General Corporation for Radio and Television in directing and managing the production of films as well as documentary, cultural and political programs. Among his notable works are Sara Khatun (2006), Abu Ja'far Al Mansour (1998) and The Sad Dawn (1991).
