Leslie Mann is an American actress best known for her roles in comedies, many of which are collaborations with her husband, director Judd Apatow. Mann was born in San Francisco in 1972, and began her career in commercials at age 18. She got her big break starring alongside Jim...Read more Carey in "The Cable Guy" (1996). Since then, she's appeared in "George of the Jungle," "Big Daddy" with Adam Sandler, and "The 40 Year Old Virgin" with Steve Carell. In 2007, she starred alongside Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd in the Apatow comedy "Knocked Up," which was a huge success commercially and critically. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Chicago Film Critics Association for her performance, and the film itself won a handful of awards. Mann reunited with "Big Daddy" co-star Adam Sandler in the emotionally raw and engaging dramedy "Funny People" (2009) about a superstar comedian who learns he has one year to live due to an incurable, terminal disease. Mann and Paul Rudd co-star in "This is 40," the 2012 follow-up (at least for Pete and Debbie) to "Knocked Up."
