American actor, born on July 11, 1952, in New York, to a Jewish father, who was a businessman and philanthropist, and a Catholic mother of Irish descent. Lang began his career as a stage actor on Broadway. His credits include Avatar (2009), Don't Breathe (2016), Mortal Engines (2018) and Public Enemies (2009).
