Affion Crockett is an American actor, writer, dancer, rapper, comedian, and producer. He was born in 1974 in Fatyetteville, North Carolina. Even as a kid, Crockett was a ham: he always got laughs for mimicking his mother's West Indian or his teacher's southern drawl, and won a popping and locking dance competition with his brother at age 10. He graduated from Fayetteville State University with a degree in business, after which he made his debut on HBO's Def Comedy Jam in 1996 doing stand-up comedy. He's had roles on "CSI: NY," "NYPD Blue," and the lauded "Curb Your Enthusiasm." His film credits include "Dance Flick" (2009) with the Wayans Brothers, "Soul Men" (2008) with Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac, and "A Haunted House" (2013) with Marlon Wayans. In 2011, Crockett starred in and produced his own sketch comedy show, "In the Flow with Affion Crockett," executive produced by Jamie Foxx. It was cancelled due to poor ratings.
