A Swedish-American actress and model, born on May 12, 1978 in Stockholm. At the age of two, Akerman moved to Canada due to her father’s work, but returned four years later to Sweden after her parents separated and married other people. As a child, she never considered acting,...Read more but her mother helped her participate in some fashion shows while still in primary school. She also appeared in some commercials. After graduation, Akerman decided to move to Los Angeles to work as an actress. Her first acting role was in 1997 in the TV series, Earth: Final Conflict. Her credits include The Heartbreak Kid (2007), Watchmen (2009) and Couples Retreat (2009). She was previously married to Roberto Zincone and has been married to Jack Donnelly since 2018.
